Managed Care's Impact on Healthcare Innovation and Technology Adoption

Curious about what topics you will learn in AVU’s MSHA program? Take a step into our MSHA course “Healthcare Economics” with our latest webinar, featuring a world-class speaker who will provide a deep dive into one of our MSHA topics.

The rapid evolution of medical technology promises vast improvements in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment modalities. Yet, how do prevailing managed care models influence, and potentially even dictate, the integration of these innovations?

As healthcare costs increase, cost-control mechanisms become more widespread and it is crucial to understand their implications for the healthcare market.

This #CourseDeepDive will equip healthcare leaders, and students, with the knowledge and strategies to understand how managed care models might influence the adoption of new medical technologies, procedures, and treatments in the healthcare system.

Join us on Tuesday, October 31 at 10 am (Pacific Time) for a one-hour live free #CourseDeepDive webinar to discuss the effect that managed care activity has on the adoption of technologies by hospitals.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Foundations of Managed Care
  • Healthcare Innovation and Technology Landscape
  • Interplay Between Managed Care & Technology Adoption
